Fresh signs are popping up in Moab neighborhoods with a message: ‘We Support Quiet Streets.’ The sign campaign comes from a group of concerned citizens aiming to lend visual support for ongoing efforts to quiet down the town. Meanwhile, ATV businesses with the help of an advocacy organization are posturing to challenge Moab policy makers over local noise ordinances. Plus, Governor Cox recently vetoed a bill that would ban transgender students’ participation in high school sports corresponding to their gender identity. Now state lawmakers are meeting to override that veto.
