S4 Ep 57: Good Girl Chronicles episode features motivational speaker, suicide prevention advocate and former TV reporter Lauren, creator of Good Girl Chronicles, a blog that she started to share her story of homeless after suffering from depression an d anxiety and her failed suicide attempt in 2014. Lauren since then turned her blog Good Girl Chronicles into story telling and since then curated several events which sparked her story telling nights and her upcoming "Galentine's Day" night

In this episode you get to hear us talk about Lauren share her suicide attempt and how that led her to become a mental illness and suicide prevention peer, she even shares how you can become one. You also get to hear Lauren and I discuss dating, love, sex and her recent decision to stop dating indefinitely.

S4 Ep 55: Living a Life of Legacy discusses the sudden and tragic death of five time NBA Championship winner and two time Olympic gold medalist. Kobe Bryant, 41 and his daughter Gianna "GiGi" Bryant, 13, in a fatal helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, along with seven other lives that were unfortunately lost. I brought two of my best friends, therapist Shana Simmons and health and wellness trainer Jalisa, to talk about loss and grief as they both have  experienced the loss of a family member and positive ways to cope with grief. We share our thoughts on media ethics on the passing of celebrities and raise the question if there is some sort of "media tragedy coach" for celebrities to help deal and prepare for the lost of a loved one.

We share our 5 love languages and the best practices/proper way to show us love and the importance of telling our loved ones we love them and "give people their roses while they still can smell them".

We also talk about Jalisa's 21 Day Fresh Start Fitness Challenge that will conclude on Sunday, February 2, 2020 and the benefits of committing 21 days to a lifestyle change. So far, I've lost 9 lbs as of today and I feel great!

S3 Ep 49: Friends, Giving highlights my crazy, yet eventful weekend and practicing what I preach so that I'm able to encourage and motivate you ladies, to be your best selves, in every aspect of your life.

My girls and I got together over the weekend and had a "Friendsgiving" brunch and had our natal charts read. We visited House of Consciousness on 35th Street and had a reading based off where the planets were positioned at the time we were born. The reading was pretty accurate and we were informed of the crystals we should have for things such as, protection, healing, business and creativity. If you're into spirituality or astrology, I recommend that you have your natal chart read.

I also share a safety thread that I posted on Twitter and Instagram a few days ago, taking my own advice, that prompted me to take my first self defense class at Brian Hobson Karate in Hampton, VA. We learned different techniques to protect ourselves in the event that we are grabbed. I highly encourage you and the women in your life to take a self defense class due to the increased number of women being abducted. I want you ladies to be safe, be vigilant, be aware and stay focused.

I talk about my spirit animal, the hit and run incident I was involved in and my meeting with financial educator Ashante Bennett, who was on last week episode to discuss my finances, she helped me to set realistic and achievable goals in order for me to obtain financial freedom!
