In this first episode, Mr. Hill shows us his time machine, which has been newly updated since we last saw it at the 2025 Middle School Apologetics Boot Camp. When things glitch, Mr. Hunter and Mr. Hill end up in first-century Athens, where they watch Acts 17:16-34 unfold before their eyes!

In our final secondary chapel of the 2024-2025 school year, our school administrator, Dr. Jeff Abbett, gave an closing charge to the students. After recapping some highlights from the year, Mr. Abbett explained why the teachers at TCS do what they do from 1 Thessalonians 5 before walking through part of the Serenity Prayer.

What foundation are you building on? // In the last chapel message in our series on the Sermon on the Mount, we walked through a familiar teaching from Jesus that closes out this incredible sermon: the story of the wise man who built on the rock and the foolish man who built his house on the sand. We learned the importance of obedience to what Jesus has told us in Matthew 5-7 this year, and, as we reviewed all that Jesus has taught us, we learned that the obedience Jesus commands of us must flow from a changed heart. ♥️

In our last Biblical Worldview Panel Discussion of the 2024-2025 school year, Pastor Tyler Cash, Dr. Mark Hager, and Pastor Matthew St.Clair joined us to discuss a super important topic: nominalism. What's the difference between a person who has true, saving faith in Jesus and a person who is a Christian "in-name-only?"

"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21, ESV) // In the next-to-last message in our chapel series on the Sermon on the Mount, we walked through three warnings from Jesus, and we came face-to-face with a startling reality - it's possible to say you're a Christian, look like a Christian, and even 'act' like a Christian, and, in the end, not really be a Christian at all.

What do specks, pigs, and bread all have to do with one another? // After reviewing where we are so far in the Sermon on the Mount, we discovered a common thread in the first twelve verses of Matthew 7: Jesus gives us practical wisdom for how citizens of His kingdom should relate with other people. We must not improperly judge others; instead, we must treat others as we would like to be treated.

Jesus is the Great Physician. He loves us, and He knows exactly what our anxious souls need. // In the eighth part of our "Sermon on the Mount" series, we directed our attention to a really big issue in the world today: anxiety. In this passage, Jesus describes the problem, gives us a diagnosis of the underlying root of the issue, and prescribes for us good medicine to align our thinking with the truth.
