Do you or your family have rituals? Do you know where they came from? Or have they been passed down from generation to generation?
Mark reports a challenge Jesus' enemies posed that was rooted in tradition and rituals. Trouble is, they had completely forgotten where the traditions had come from.
Jesus would point out the origin that they were missing. As he does, he challenges us in the church to hold tightly to what really matters. Here's a hint: it's not the tradition.
Join us this episode as we hold tightly to what really matters!

Sometimes in life we miss what’s supposed to be obvious. It’s like when you come home and your wife looks at you and says, “Did you notice what I did with the room?” Suddenly you were thinking, “It’s a trap.” “I switched the pillows around.” “Oh, I see that now.” Sometimes in our life with Jesus we truly miss the obvious. The disciples did as well. Join us this week as we remember what's obvious.

Jesus gives out his Word and bread and gives his disciples bread distribution training. That is Jesus’ response to the crowds wanting Jesus to be their leader who overthrows the Roman government. Jesus is repudiating the radical revolutionary movements of his day and setting the table to teach them about the real Kingdom.

Who do you surround yourself with? What voices influence you online? They can lead you toward God and a life with more peace, patience, and self-control. Or they can lead you away from God and, as was the case with the Old Testament King Rehoboam, into an implosion. Join us this episode as we take a close look at with whom we are walking into the future, and how to avoid the mistakes of a young king.
