Ahhhh the hoodies. Some of the holy grails in any wardrobe. However, since the beginning of time, the hoodies have been under constant threat from our female companions. Why? We don’t know. However, we know how we have personally victimized by these egregious actions and through this episode, we further investigate the ancient practice of hoodie theft. Why it happens and how we can put a stop to this archaic practice before it’s too late.
Ahh, we are so privileged to be in the position. Catching flights and not catching feelings seems to be a very common theme in our generation. On a serious note, catching fights is something we all do, some of us more than others. Each of our experiences is unique but nothing ever runs smoothly or goes the way it should but that’s the beauty of travel and what makes it exciting. In this episode, we discuss all things flight-related and share some of our hilarious experiences with you.
So at the core of Tings and Things is two close friends who are very close but as you get closer and you figure out more about us you will slowly find that we are super close but vastly different. We are living in some crazy time these days. Our lives are dominated by screens, whether it is our phones, the computers and to a lesser extent tv. We have an honest and in-depth conversation about what role these screens play in our lives. From work to leisure/entertainment/social media we give an honest assessment of how we spend our times on these screens. More than that though we talk about how we decide to decompress and spend our time away from the screens. What is your level of self belief?
Ahhhh...trolling is such an ancient past time that has exploded due to social media. The internet has leveled out the playing field and made people so accessible to us. The climate these days is absolutely crazy with social media just being an absolute minefield. People post things and sometimes you never know their real intention
Trolling also happens bountifully on sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Facebook gets particularly intense when there are national or international events going on. Going on a conservative or liberal Facebook page is like entering a literal boxing match of words. Arguments are endless in supply, and comments from both sides trying to get a rise out of the other often appear in threads.
Social media is an excellent way to engage with the world around you and a great way for brands and companies to engage with users. While it can be a very positive thing, you’ll probably run into trolls on the internet. Trolls can be a bad thing or they can be a good thing!
Shoutout to the Tings and Things fam for always tuning in and rocking with us. Between the two of our we have incredible chats that we love to share with you.
Tings and Things is essentially a collection of conversations that we have had in our personal lives, and decided to share with you. I hope you folks enjoy our nonsense and ELITE level banter!
Ahhhhh....the clout. So addictive. When it comes to living our lives out on the internet for the world to see we are literally the first to do it. Clout is something so infectious, so many of our homies are chasing the fame and the status that comes with being in the “limelight.” We tackle all of that in this episode.
One of our favorite philosophers…aka Jermaine Cole once said I”t won't be for clout...It won't be for fame.” Please enjoy fambam!
This episode is centered around a young and upcoming photographer in the Kenyan industry. Stephanie has blazed her own trail and created a fantastic niche for herself and it would be great to hear her story: how she fought for the right to practice her craft and her journey to the top of the scene. She has been on the podcast before (check out Episode 6 if you haven’t) but she has had such an incredible year we thought it would only be fitting to have her back on the podcast and share everything that has been going on with her.
Check out all the amazing work she is producing from her Panzigo studio. Also she is really cool and produces amazing content so check our out here personal page here.
Birthdays are an incredible milestone. The concepts of birthdays has changed dramatically as we have become adults. We investigate this evolution and discuss how birthdays in adulthood carry such a different meaning. Children love a good surprise and gifts, and of course, those are 2 things you get on your birthday as a child. Also, children tend to have parties that are exciting, lots of fun and their friends and family are all invited. I think as an adult a little bit of that shine rubs off unless you're talking about a BIG birthday such as 21, 40, 60, etc. Some adults live alone with limited friends and family so be default the excitement is less, the parties are smaller and the gifts are fewer
