The head of the HSE says the rising numbers of cases of the Delta variant is a concerning trend. It now accounts for 20 per cent of call cases detected here and is responsible for slowing down the easing of restrictions in the UK.

But Transport Minister Eamon Ryan says he's 'cautiously optimistic' that indoor dining will still reopen from July 5th.

They trap, neuter and release feral cats in the town of Cashel and to date, have trapped and released over 500 cats.

Kelly, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who helmed the design and production of the modern Landing Craft for the US Navy and Marines, led the tribute to Maureen Sweeney at the Sonas nursing home and read several letters from American families as well as a letter of commendation from the President of the World War Two Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
