A database built by a state inquiry into the Mother and Baby Homes system will now be sent to Tusla. It's after the Dáil voted through a controversial bill which transfers the rest of the Commission's records to the Department of Children.
Minister Roderic O'Gorman has denied the intention is to seal the archive and has promised to revisit the question of access for survivors. The Commission is due to submit its report at the end of the month.
