Now, bullying is an unfortunate reality of schools.

We all know that – BUT we often neglect that bullying doesn't stop when someone completes their Leaving Cert – it continues on to adult life.

This can often manifest itself in a workplace where strangers are thrown together in a high-pressure hierarchical setting.

While it makes perfect sense to report a child who is bullying, for many adults it can be belittling and embarrassing to report that they are being bullied.

We were hearing yesterday from HIQA's Tracy O'Carroll about the latest findings on patient experiences in Tipp hospitals – namely Nenagh and South Tipp General.

Well many of you got in touch to explain why you thought the hospitals were strong in some areas and weak in others.

One such woman who contacted us was Clonmel woman Edel Burns who says she owes her life to the staff of St Joseph's Hospital – she joined Fran to explain why:

Lucy Wolf, a sleep therapist and author who runs the Sleep Matters website joined Fran with sleeping advice.

Punitive measures must be put in place for local authority tenants who damage their council houses.

That's the opinion of Templemore Councillor John Hogan, who felt that these kind of tenants should be refused housing in the future.

Currently, around two percent of local authority tenants damage their home and are free to move on to new homes without any repurcussions.

Cllr John Hogan joined Fran on Thursday to give his view on what should be done to change this.

Tipp Today regular contributor and blogger Helen England turned 44 on Wednesday and joined Fran to discuss - among other things - how she doesn't care about aging.

Musician and songwriter Michael Commins joined Fran in studio this afternoon.

The Clonmel library said goodbye to a woman who dedicated a large part of her life to it this week.

Marie Boland retired after 42 years service to Tipperary libraries, having also worked in Thurles and Roscrea.

Marie joined Fran in studio on Wednesday.
