The Tipperary People and Places lecture series returns to The Source in Thurles this week.

The first lecture, given by Maynooth's Barbara McCormack, looks at the New Inn priest who volunteered as an army chaplain with the British Army during WWII - and survived to tell the tale.

Ahead of her lecture on Rev Edmond Kelly, Barbara spoke to Tipp Today about the man.
