In the first hour of this morning's Tipp Today we spoke with Irish Mail on Sunday Political Editor and Author John Lee about Fianna Fail's meeting on abortion and the Disclosures Tribunal.We then discussed Family Carers Ireland's new funding to support carers following a bereavement and spoke to Cyber Smarties about the safety of children online. We then had our Nutrition Slot with Ann Darcy.

In the final hour of this morning's Tipp Today we spoke to Independent Deputy Michael Lowry about new flood lighting on the Rock of Cashel and also about the ongoing dispute between Bord na Mona workers and management. We also spoke to Dennis Floyd chairperson of Birdhill Tidy Village committee who has been named Tipperary person of the year for 2017 and we lamented Neil Diamond's decision to retire from preforming live following his diagnosis of Parkinson's.

In the second hour of today's show we spoke to Marcus O'Connor from the county council who answered questions about road issues. We also had our weekly legal slot with John Lynch. We also had physical therapist Neil Dennehy live in studio to talk about back problems and answer listener questions.

In the first hour of this morning's Tipp Today we spoke to Noel O'Dywer about the issue of potholes in Thurles, we also spoke to one of our listeners about the same issue. Cllr Jim Ryan called into the show with some clarification on the matter. We spoke about the upgrading of the water supply in Carrick on Suir.

In the final hour of today's show we spoke to our favourite Tipperary student's Jake and Sean Paul who are appealing for help from our listeners. We also spoke to Sinn Fein Cllr Martin Browne about the party's new leader Mary Lou McDonald and we spoke to singer Niamh Lynn about her upcoming show in Cashel which will pay tribute to the great women of country music.

In the second hour of this morning's Tipp Today we were joined in studio by Independent TD Mattie McGrath where we discussed changes to road traffic laws and Fianna Fail's stance on abortion. We also spoke to Mike Edward's about a new listening cafe service in Roscrea. We also spoke to Margie McCarthy from the CAO about the growing popularity of STEM subjects.

In the first hour of this morning's Tipp Today Fran discussed the flooding caused by the deluge of rain over the weekend which resulted in a number of road closures in Tipperary. We heard more horrific stories of cruelty towards horses in Clonmel and we spoke to an inspirational woman who transformed her life and her health.
