Perhaps the greatest act of humility in the history of Creation was when Jesus humbled Himself below the Father to come to Earth as the Savior of the world. He gave up His position next to the Father but also retained all of His power as part of the Trinity. Scripture says that Jesus is fully human and fully God. Pastor Mark teaches today that just as Jesus humbled Himself and fulfilled the will of God on Earth, Christian men and women can do the same. By choosing His will for our lives, and doing what He called us to do, we bring glory to God. Do you want to live your life to please yourself, or do you want to glorify Him?
