TMCJ Podcast

First off, this episode is very different than what we normally do for a podcast: Its the full recording from a stream so it was all done live; it had gimmicks and segments, but no topics, just us talking free-form while I built a Lego set! Though Blue did surprise me by adding in some random games to break things up...

Podcast #84: This episode we've shuffled the schedule a bit (obviously this isn't a movie night episode) and we're on episode 84!. First up we talk about one for the funnier news stories of the day, Elon Musk buying up shares in Twitter, then Blue discusses a musical him and his gf went to see, and finally in segment #3 Blue conducts our first quiz segment in quite a while!

Podcast #83: In true form we try our best to prep people that there will be a segment with some negative opinions up front...then we proceed to leave those opinions behind and talk about fun things and DnD after about 10 minutes. After all that we move into a segment #3 where Blue talks about his experience reading the second and third books in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. Yes there's a series of those books, I was surprised too.

Episode #5 of Movie Night and this time Elysia has chosen for us a brand new movie: The Adam Project! This movie is a Netflix exclusive and stars Ryan Reynolds playing Ryan Reynolds with a child who basically is just playing Ryan Reynolds...oh and there's time travel and sci-fi things too, but those are mostly just background for the movie's banter and comedy.

Podcast #82: We start off this week talking about the first episode of the latest and final season of Peaky Blinders, our impressions and thoughts on where the season might go. Then we move on to chatting about some games we've been playing during the week to round out segment #1. Finally in segment #3, Blue just finished reading George Orwell's classic novel: 1984, and since I read it a few years back we decided it would be a good thing to discuss!

Episode #4 of Movie Night and I've chosen to have us watch a classic (at least in my eyes) comedy about two New York Collage kids who run afoul of the law down in rural Alabama. They then have to rely on their inexperienced cousin (Joe Pesci) to represent them in court!

Podcast #81: This week there are no plans, just Blue and I kicking back and talking about what we've been playing this week: in my case its a bit retro with the Zero Escape series and Megaman Legends I and II, and in Blue's case its been Ni no Kuni II. For segment #3 Blue went to see the new Batman movie (the one with Robert Patterson) and we discuss.

Episode #3 of Movie night has us discussing the wacky 2005 sci-fi movie Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy! A movie so off the wall in what they pull from the book Blue frequently has to remind me of the order certain plot points happen in...

Podcast #80: We open up talking about Amazon's new upcoming Lord of the Rings series and the Witcher Season 2 for segment #1. Then we move into a very long Segment #3 where we discuss the novel: War of the Worlds, a book Blue has been shaming me for never having read the original or heard the radio dramatization.
