TMCJ Podcast

Podcast #79: We open up talking about something kinda weird I heard floating around the news this past week...basically just a daytime TV host saying something dumb. We then move on to talking about Harry Potter movies and some stories from our school days. Finally we discuss the kind of Computer peripherals we've used and our thoughts on them.

Podcast #78: We open things up talking about the some interesting news this week: Activision Blizzard being bought out by Microsoft and what that might mean for some of our favorite games. That then spirals into a conversation about competitive gaming in general. Finally in segment #3 we get back to one of our old games: Long Story Short!

We open up talking about the controversy coming out of G4 TV, other random podcasts we listen to, and more. Finally we move on to a random Quiz Blue put together about pokemon. I fail quite badly at this and we move on to rhapsodize about our thoughts on the various pokemon games we've played over the years.

Podcast #76: Okay we're trying out something new this week: specifically we've removed segment #2 so that it can hopefully flourish as its own separate entity (so look forward to that!) That means this week's podcast is a bit of a shorter affair as we get used to the new set up. Segment #1 is video game heavy again as Blue discusses his new obsession, a game called Dysmantle and we then move on to discuss the history or RTS games; more specifically our history with them. Then we have a fairly relaxed segment #3 (yes its still called that even without segment #2) and pick back up the Eye of Argon!

Podcast #75: This week its games, games, and more games! We open segment #1 with an update on New Year's resolutions then go on to talk about video games, specifically the aspects that make a good game (Graphics, writing, gameplay, etc.) and how they apply to games we love. Then in segment #2 we chat about a game I've been playing: Timberborn, and another game we've been playing: Hunt Showdown. Finally in segment #3 I take a stab at hosting the quiz game Blue came out with where he tries to guess whether an achievement we list is real or fake!

Podcast #74: Its New Years! We start things off with an idea I thought would be interesting but really ended up being a dud: Fear...don't worry if you skip ahead about 10 minutes we start talking about video games which IMO was much more interesting :-). In segment #2 Blue and I discuss two 3 hour movies that we each watched over the Christmas holiday: Casino and The Sound of Music. And finally we discuss what our New Years resolutions were last year and what we're considering for next year! (And since we didn't have anything to talk about after that we just chat about DnD for a while).

Podcast #72: We open up on the very predictable bombshell that the Netflix Cowboy Bebop series was cancelled after one season, we then get on to talking about what sort of TV show we would make if we had the resources to do so (just to show we don't just sh*t on other people's creativity). Then in segment 2 we close the loop on squid game and talk about a new show I've been watching on Amazon: Counterpart. Finally we get to a new word game Blue has been cooking up that we've lovingly dubbed: Obvious Association!

Podcast #71: We're in for a long one, and boy does it show in my voice by the end of the podcast; we recorded this one after I'd just gotten back from a long trip and I only had about 4 hours of sleep...But who cares! The show must go on! And go on it does: We begin by discussing my recent trip to France, then move to discussing the entirety of the new Cowboy Bebop series on Netflix (something that saw me go from hopeful to experiencing pain and disgust at the abomination Blue described), and finally Blue talks about a very wholesome little game he's been playing about asking questions and finding positivity anonymously online!
