We made it through Christmas! Like me, I'm confident you received good things during Christmas. We had time to share with friends and families that, in many cases, are impossible during our busy lives. While we were enjoying these, the World continued to turn, and bad things happened. With our New Year just days ahead, we begin today's show by analyzing where we as a nation are in confronting the issues in our government that at least 77 million Americans who voted for Trump want to happen here in the next four years. We detail those and catch you up with the critical ones already being addressed. However, there are far more that need to be addressed and changed. As you prepare for the new year, you need to hear many of those issues that have not been discussed, even broadly, in mainstream media.

One week from today is "D-Day" for the next U.S. House of Representatives chapter. That day is the day the House must choose its Speaker for the next legislative session. Also, January 9th is the day the Congress confirms the election of Donald Trump as President 47. Today, we discuss several things about these processes that are up in the air, including determining if Mike Johnson (R-LA) will keep the Speaker's spot or if a different House member will be chosen to assume the Speaker's role. Democrats around the nation are planning to try to keep Trump from assuming the presidency. Hear their plans and intentions in this. A provision in the Constitution allows the House to stop an elected candidate from becoming President. However, that provision is narrowed specifically to keep renegade lawmakers from confirming the People's choice in the November election. The international fallout about Trump coming back to the White House is mounting. However, it's happening mostly at home. Vladimir Putin announced he welcomes a meeting with Donald Trump to discuss terms about Ukraine and other domestic and military issues. The United States Government is upside down! OMG: The House of Representatives went down a rabbit hole. House Speaker Johnson (R-LA) told us last year that we'd NEVER have to go down again. Of course, it's all about money. The massive Continuing Resolution bill crafted by Johnson's minions was blasted so dramatically when details were issued caused the measure to be withdrawn from the voting process. That bill was to fund the nation "temporarily," which would give Congress until March to prepare a "total" spending bill. What happens now? On today's show, we hear from numerous "experts" who both express their horrors about the spending bill and blame House Speaker Johnson for bringing this massive bill to the House for consideration. After hearing from President-elect Donald Trump that he refuses to encourage passage of the bill, Johnson pulled the bill off the floor of the House. You're probably like me: I expected Kamala Harris to move on to other "career options" after her shellacking in the election. In today's show, you'll hear that she is NOT planning to disappear but is planning to make a run in 2028 for the POTUS! Liz Cheney is now in the bullseye of Congressional members as a report alleges Cheney, while serving as a leader in the January 6 Committee's operations, violated laws personally when "coaxing" a witness before the Committee to lie. It appears that these allegations will launch a criminal investigation. We'll be watching. Hopeful "good" news released that Russia has found a vaccine that will cure cancer!
