The disciple Peter swore that he would follow Jesus even to the death. But when the time came, Peter denied knowing Him. Later, when the risen Jesus restores Peter, He does not ask for a one-time, heroic act… but asks Peter to meet the daily needs of people. The greatest love is often found in keeping the smallest promises.
