Let us hope, that with all the new much needed swiping changes forthcoming from American reclaiming "Common Sense" minded elected servants (a.k.a. political leaders), that our Public Education is re-centered on Common Core subjects;  Mathematics, Sciences, True History, Languages, Writing, and Geography.  Let's hope that all public education systems put Vocational (skilled trades) back on the top.
Teaching true history should, and "must" be taught without bias and hate, which most of teachers and professors can't seem to understand the lasting negative results of doing otherwise.

Yes, I do feel sorry for those folks in California.  I feel sorry for you because y'all been drinking that Woke Koolaid for years and now you're seeing the poison of having DEI, LBGPTOW@ Libtards in leadership positions.  You pay some of the nation's highest taxes, and look for it gave you.  Please don't look to move to the Southeast.  

56 years ago "yesterday" the USS Enterprise experienced a horrific fire on the flightdeck that results in 27 Sailors losing their life.  Some 300 plus injured, and a number of aircraft lost.  The operations on a flightdeck are extremely hazardous with multiple inheritably dangerous operations; (launching, recovery of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, movement of aircraft, high explosives everywhere coupled with highly volatile jet fuel.  What could possibly go wrong.

What happened some 210 years ago today (8 Jan. 1815).  Was this famous Battle really even necessary?  I'm sure for the thousands of men killed or wounded, it would have been nice to know that an Official Treaty had been signed some two weeks earlier that would have prevented the Battle.
But the rest is history.

Who came up with celebrating the new year on 1 January?   Well, for every person who listens to this, it's always been 1 January, but why that day?  

Not a historian by any means, but dating back to some 2000 BC and even further back for the Chinese, the beginning of a new year has gone through a few changes which means it's been tossed around a bit from century to century as to when a culture and/or a society decided to celebrate a new year.

Leave to the Brintons to mess with it and have a period with two different dates on documents.

None of these matters.  Have a blessed and happy new year.

The movie White Christmas can't be discussed without first talking about the song White Christmas.  
Who wrote the song, when was it written, and where was the song writer when he wrote the song?  What other songs did he write that we're familiar with?
When was the song first sang in public?  Who sang it?  When was it first recorded to a record?  Had it been sung previous in a different movie?
Then the movie White Christmas stands alone as an American Musical Classic.  Was it always supposed to be Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye?  Was much of the movie quickly rewritten?  Was Vera-Ellen better at dancing or singing?  Who had to wear higher hells to be as tall as the other one?
Anyway, White Christmas has and continues to be a Christmas tradition in our household.

More about the Mayflower and the ventures of the 102 passengers.  Why were they exiled from England?  Who were the "Strangers" who made up some 50% of the 102?  Why were English Merchants the ones funding their exploration?  Where did the Native American Indians learn to speak English?

I love history, and I love learning facts, and seeing the past of someone else's life.  William F. Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill lived to be approximately 71 years old.  He died at his sister's house in Denver CO.  His wife died some four years later in 1921.
William Cody left home at age eleven, and his life was truly amazing to say the least.  His life, as many proves we change with age.  Our values, principles and beliefs change with age.
Listen to this episode to learn but a brief glimpse of his life.  From cattle driver, Pony Express Rider, Buffalo Hunter to feed Army and Railroad Workers, an Army Scout to fighting the Indians to a showman, an advocate for the American Indians, to broke and old.

Today's episode is preference with the reality of the fact, these millions of illegal immigrants don't have to deal the Healthcare Insurance plans, and they damn sure don't have to become familiar with such matters of PPOs, Open Enrollments Periods, Co-Pay, nor In or Out of Networks.  I'm pissed to say the least, as are too millions of Americans.  And surprisingly, the Democrats still don't get it.  But what the Democrats don't understand is:  the balance of the Haves vs the Have-Nots must be tilted, therefore that's why they're importing millions more of "Have-Nots."
Secondly, today's episode is a repeat of last year's take on Thanksgiving.

I take no pride is sharing that I failed the ninth grade, and barely graduated as a D minus student at Taylor County High School.  English and spelling were not my strong points, and the truth be told other than recess and gym, I didn't excel at anything.
Then Coach Jack Smith hit a nerve with me one day, as I had to write something on some papers which was on the hood of a car outside to old Boy's School gym.  That's nerve without a "K."  Yes sir, I found myself having to spell the work knee on the report about a past injury and surgery, and I spelled in "nee" vice "knee."  Well let me tell you,....Jack Smith blew a gasket to say the least.  Did he belittle me?  Yes, and it was fitting, warranted and well deserved.   I felt two inches tall and like a two inch tall idiot at that.
Weeks later I recall looking up the word knee in the dictionary while in the Library, or as we used to pronounce it; "liberry."  It was then I realized some many words start with "kn" but the "k" is silent.
So today at age 62, I decided to find out why.  Join me on the podcast to learn as well.
