Have you ever noticed that the people who seem to have life completely figured out often stop asking questions? But the people who continue to grow—those who remain open and full of wonder—never lose their sense of humility. They know and recognize there's always more to learn, more to discover, and more ways to love.
In last Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus thanks the Father that the mysteries of the Kingdom are revealed not to the wise and the powerful, but to the "little ones." Who are these little ones? They aren't simply children. They're ordinary people—people who know what it means to hope, to struggle, to grieve, to ask questions, and to long for something more.
Today, Father Pat McGrath reminds us that the deepest desire of every human heart is "to know and be known, to love and be loved," so he invites us to embrace our shared humanity with humility, compassion, and openness.
