  • TO THE MOON, ALLISON with romance author NOREEN MUGHEES

    THE MIS-ARRANGEMENT OF SANA SAEED

“A refreshing and hilarious rom-com . . . Uzma Jalaluddin fans will want to check this out.”
    —Publishers Weekly
“Mughees deftly depicts Muslim culture . . . A captivating romance.”
    —Library Journal
“The Mis-Arrangement of Sana Saeed is a perfectly sweet read for Jane Austen fans who love an immersive, heartwarming retelling! Noreen Mughees has a fresh and modern voice, and her take on the star-crossed childhood sweethearts turned grown-up, complicated love triangle is delightful. You'll be Team Daniel from the moment he appears on the page.”
—Zoe York, New York Times bestselling author
“A beautiful heartwarming story of second chances, friendship and family bonds with all the angst and drama of the best Bollywood film. Noreen Mughees' charming debut romance is an unputdownable treat!”
—Sara Desai, author of The Singles Table
Perfect for fans of Sonali Dev and Uzma Jalaluddin, Noreen Mughees’s immersive debut novel reunites star-crossed childhood sweethearts against all odds, only for their second chance to clash with their parents’ strict beliefs.
Thirty-three-year-old hijabi Sana Saeed has put away her childhood dream of ishq—an all-consuming, sweeping love. The arranged dates she’s agreed to have failed time after time, and she has responsibilities to consider—namely her sweet, autistic younger brother, Zia. Sana and Zia are a package deal, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. But their traditional mother won’t allow Sana to be named as his future guardian . . . unless she’s married.
When Daniel Malik walks into Sana’s office at the Department of Environmental Conservation, she’s astonished—their childhood friendship has been a cherished memory ever since a feud between their families put an end to it eighteen years ago. But there’s no chance of them becoming close again; Daniel may be as hot as a Bollywood heartthrob, but not only is he Sana’s new boss, her mother would disown her if she ever brought him home.
With the clock ticking, Sana agrees to a marriage arranged by her family. She’s seen plenty of arranged marriages grow into love; maybe that will happen for her too. But when a high-stakes case at work forces Sana and Daniel to team up, they find themselves less able—and willing—to play their parts of “good desi children.”
Now Sana must make a choice: family and security, or the one man who claimed her heart long ago.
Noreen Mughees is a South Asian Muslim writer who lives in New Jersey. She works as a public servant and when she's not chasing a new plot, she loves to cook for her family and friends. Noreen loves hugging trees, people and cute kittens when she's not daydreaming about HEA's for brown people like her. A desi food addict, she loves cooking and having a mug of garam chai (hot tea) next to her. When not writing she can be found traveling to places real and imaginary

  • TO THE MOON, ALLISON with SKYLA ARNDT, author of TOGETHER WE ROT

TOGETHER WE ROT is a YA horror novel pitched as “Hereditary” meets WINTERWOOD about two former best friends — tough-as-nails Wil and shy, sheltered Elwood — who must confront an ancient evil living in the forest before it’s too late.
Skyla Arndt has always loved the creepy, crawly side of life. When she was younger, she thought that love might translate to hunting Bigfoot, but luckily for him, writing proved easier. Her debut novel, Together We Rot, is a YA horror about two estranged best friends who need to team up to confront an ancient evil in their neighboring woods. Connect with her at arndtskyla.com or @arndtskyla on Instagram or Twitter.

  • TO THE MOON, ALLISON with fantasy author EMMA KHOURY

A graduate of Ferris State University for Criminal Justice, Emma Khoury studied abroad in Ireland and Japan. She lives in the Metro-Detroit area with her two cats, Echo and Kira, who were the inspiration for The Sword & Shield and her carb-loving puppy, Gipsy Danger.
Her debut novel, THE SWORD AND SHIELD, came out in 2020 and was later optioned for an audio deal through Tantor audio. Her current fantasy work is on submission.
Praise for THE SWORD AND SHIELD
“Never have I met a more endearing sellsword than Ezra Toth, begrudging hero and reluctant friend. Loved this grounded fantasy, with realistic portrayals of palace intrigue, village life, and political machinations, all from the perspective of the one man dragged into the center of it all to protect what may actually be--gasp!--an honest, respectable royal? So of course he's marked for death, with only Ezra (and a very small circle of confidantes) set to keep his head on his shoulders. (Literally.) Add in holidays, excellent ACE rep, and a healthy dose of kittens, and you have an engaging, delightful read that will sweep you away to a fantasy kingdom that might just have existed--if you squint. Highly recommend, including for the audiobook, which was brought to life by an excellent narrator.”—Goodreads

  • TO THE MOON, ALLISON with MEREDITH SCHORR, author of SOMEONE JUST LIKE YOU LIKE YOU

"Meredith Schorr's SOMEONE JUST LIKE YOU has all of the wit, plot, clever banter, and a swoon-worthy ending of a Nora Ephron romcom-I couldn't put it down! This enemies-to-lovers slow burn about two childhood rivals had me laughing and then happy crying-someone please make this a movie!"
―Erin La Rosa, author of For Butter or Worse and Plot Twist
"Charming and full of heart, this book had me smiling from start to finish. I didn't want to leave Molly and Jude's world-the pranks, the banter, the deep and oh-so-satisfying soulmate connection hiding under the surface all along. The perfect blend of laugh-out-loud, steamy, and heartfelt, Meredith Schorr's sophomore novel will have readers addicted and in love from the very first pages."
―Holly James, author of Nothing But The Truth and The Deja Glitch
A born and bred New Yorker and lifelong daydreamer, Meredith Schorr fueled her passion for writing everything from restaurant reviews, original birthday cards, and even work-related emails into a career penning romantic comedies. When she’s not writing books filled with grand gestures and hard-earned happily-ever-afters or working as a trademark paralegal, she’s most often reading, running, or watching TV…for research, of course. She is represented by Melissa Edwards at Stonesong. Meredith’s trade paperback debut with Grand Central Publishing/Forever, AS SEEN ON TV, was published on June 7, 2022, and SOMEONE JUST LIKE YOU hits the shelves in July. She also has penned THE BLOGGER GIRL series, as well as THE BOYFRIEND SWAP, JUST FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS, A STATE OF JANE, and HOW DO YOU KNOW?
