Toaster Squad

We roll right into the meat and potatoes of the show this week. Starting with our new and improved game session, “All Seriousness Aside.” Darren has us wondering if it’d be worth stepping into the shoes of some of our favorite heroes. Afterwards, we discuss the Worlds 2016 bracket stage and the 2017 preseason changes.

It may be the end of October, but we have Christmas yearly this year! We get right into it with our Untitled Game 2, or as it’s now known, All Seriousness Aside. We decide which characters would be effective in different games. Then we get to the meat and potatoes and talk about the Nintendo Switch announcement. We round this four course meal out with some Pokemon Sun and Moon demo discussions.

Who needs the original members? We sure don’t, cause Tyler isn’t here for this episode. Instead we have Pat with us today! We start with Untitled Game 1, where we guess the descriptive tags on ESRB ratings. Then for the remainder of the show we talk about the Worlds 2016 group stages and quarterfinals.

Who’s the best character, champion, or hero? We have no freaking idea! J starts us off this week with a new guessing game. He tells us a character and has us guess where they are on a tier list. For the remainder of the show, we talk about Vivendi’s attempts to seize control of Ubisoft, and what we’d do to improve Ubisoft’s current position.

Is it bed time already!? Apparently it is for Tyler. Meaning we’re a man short on this episode of the Squadcast. No need to worry though, Christian has everything under control. He starts us off with a Worlds players guessing game, then has us talking about wrist injuries in professional gaming and how they can be addressed.

As is the norm now, we start the show with a game, brought to us by Justin. For the rest of the show we talk about the “For Honor” alpha and 3rd person action games.

For the 31st episode we mix things up. We start by playing a game of “Would You Want to Be.” Then we discuss the upcoming 2016 League of Legends World Championship for the remainder of the show.

**Side Note** We had some small audio issues during the show, so we apologize for those ahead of time.

The 30th episode of the Toaster Squadcast starts with the Squad discussing the PS4 Pro and the implications of small hardware changes during a generation of consoles. Form there, we discuss more new Pokemon Sun and Moon news, online relationships, and what changes we would make if we were in charge of the next Super Smash Bros. game.

This week we bring you a slightly shorter episode than normal, but it’s still jam packed full of our shenanigans. Justin starts us off with some talk on the new pokemon z movies. Then Darren has us discuss the female stereotype in games, and how it affects the video game scene. Tyler wants to know how we feel about some of the new Nintendo 3DS games that will be releasing soon.  For the last subject, Christian wants to know what our favorite mods are. To wrap the show we tell you about some of the best game deals on the internet.
