Toaster Squad

The main crew is back for this episode, and it’s good conversation all around. Darren runs the who show tonight, starting us off by asking what would it take for us to give up console gaming (Christian and J didn’t get it). After some great sacrifices, we talk about DLC strategies, and which ones are most effective at keeping players around without them feeling like their money is being stolen.

We decided it was the perfect time to talk about Horizon Zero Dawn. Since J and Tyler haven’t played it, we threw them out and got some replacements. Upgrades even. Christian takes us through the wild ride that is theory crafting, as we talk about the new ADC build popping up in the LCK for All Seriousness Aside. Finally, as the title promises, we discuss our experiences with Horizon Zero Dawn. Be warned, there are spoilers for the first 15-ish hours of the game.

For All Seriousness Aside, Darren rants about people complaining about the new AMD CPU Ryzen. You could say that his AMD bias was leaking. After the rest of the crew sit through his far to complicated rant, we talk about how long it should take developers to work on new games, new classes, dlc, and other new content.

Following, we channel our inner 12 year old and talk about what we want to see from the next Call of Duty.

If you didn’t know, the Squad are prolific League of Legends players. For the first time in a while, it’s to the point that we play Heroes instead (no hate to HOTS). For most of the show, we discuss our current issues with the meta in League of Legends, and how it’s hurting the game. Then we talk about what would be needed to fix the problems with ADC’s on a more permanent bases.
