Is there something a game will do that bugs you to no end? We know the feeling. This week we’re letting our frustrations out by talking about some of the things games do that we can’t stand.

While Christian and Zac are running from a hurricane, and J is who knows where. Tyler and Darren are here to keep things going. As is tradition, they pick a genre of game to talk about. This time around it’s rhythm games. From Rock Band to Beat Saber, nothing is a pick up and play as a rhythm game.

We give you our predictions for the upcoming Nintendo Direct. There’s a short discussion on the COD and Battlefield Battle Royal modes. Lastly, we cover 2K’s announcement covering microtransactions.

The three men on the job are talking all about exclusives this week. ASA is an first party exclusive match up, where only the best may win. The Rest Of The Show features a discussion on what would happen if Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony swapped first party games.

Your favorite boolin’ brothers are running the show this time around. One of the series they’ve spent the most time in is the Elders Scrolls. They discuss whether the Elders Scrolls games would be any good without a main story quest. In the end, there are a lot of comparisons to the Witcher series. Almost might as well be a comparison episode.

It’s Zac and Darren manning the ship known as the SS Toaster Squad this week. They two brave sailors discuss the hard work and questionable conditions developers toil to make the games we love to play. They focus specifically on the lead of the Smash Bros development team, Sack of Fries.

We’re teach the children addition on this episode when J joins to make 2+1=3. Due to him joining at the last moment, we talk about the Nintendo Direct featuring Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Lots of new information to talk about, including characters, QOL changes, and more.

This episode is fresh as some veggies right off the farm. The Squad try out some new rapid fire questions for The Rest Of The Show. Thankfully, it takes up more time than Darren thought it might. Then the crew introduces their new take on the predictions segment.

As time as gone on, games have become more and more like platforms instead of games. You still get to play a game, but there’s a lot of additional content surrounding the game. The Squad breakdown the trend of games becoming platforms and how it’s affected the gaming sphere.
