Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey called President Donald Trump's comments that Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients are "largely Democrats" an "insulting" comment. During an appearance on CBS's "Face the Nation," Governor Healey was played a clip of Mr. Trump describing the impact of a potential government shutdown on SNAP funding, where he said: "Largely, when you talk about SNAP, you're talking about largely Democrats... They're hurting their own people".
