The sole survivor of the Air India crash in June 2025, British national Viswashkumar Ramesh, has been described as the "luckiest man alive" but is also suffering from severe physical and mental trauma, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Ramesh was the only one of the 242 people on board the London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner to survive after it crashed into a medical college hostel shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad, India, an accident that also killed 19 people on the ground.
