Today I watched the first four episodes of SyFy’s Deals from the Dark Side. It’s another Pawn Stars type show with a macabre twist.

Today I watched Airborne written by Paul Chronnell, directed by Dominic Burns and starring Craig Conway, Simon Philips, Gemma Atkinson, Alan Ford, Julian Glover, and Mark Hamill. I give it 2/5 stars. I would not recommend this for movie night unless you have run out of other movies to watch, or have a thing for movies that take place on airplanes.

Today I watched Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States season 1 episode 1. I thought this episode is a pretty good start and I will definitely be watching more, but it so far doesn’t seem as “untold” or unconventional as the title suggests. Give me an episode about the Nazi occultism and Pearl Harbor conspiracy theories and I’d be much more on board on the entertainment side.

Today I watched Shock Corridor written and directed by Samuel Fuller. I give it 4/5 stars.

Today I watched Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes directed by Corey Grant. I give it 5/5 stars because I enjoyed the hell out of it. Check it out if you enjoy “found footage” horror/monster/survival stuff.

Today I watched Friends With Kids written, directed  and starring Jennifer Westfeldt, and also starring a bunch of other people. John Hamm, Adam Scott, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd and Kristen Wiig. I give it 4/5 stars.

Today I watched In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale directed by Uwe Boll and starring Jason Statham, Burt Reynolds, Ray Liota and Ron Perlman. I enjoyed parts of it so I give it 3/5 stars.

Today I go through my Blu-ray collection. If a movie or TV show is awesome enough, I want it on Blu-ray, so everything on this list is definitely worth watching. Except maybe Smokin’ Aces. It’s pretty good, but it’s the only Blu-ray I bought without having seen it before, so it doesn’t match my proven awesomeness criteria.

Today I watched Man on a Ledge directed by Asger Leth and starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks. I give it 5/5 stars. Don’t learn anything about this movie, just go see it. Now!

Today I watched This Means War directed by McG and starringReese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
