Today Is My Favorite Day

Dave and Randy Pandis discuss why voting matters. In 2024, over 31 million Christians did not vote in the presidential election. The men discuss Jeremiah 29:7 and Joshua 24:15 as they relate to Christians voting through a biblical worldview in every election. They also go over the differences between the Democratic and Republican Party platforms. If you are interested in receiving information about elections through a Biblical worldview, please go to

In the latest TIMFD podcast, Dave spoke with James Judge, an award-winning PR expert, public speaker, decorated U.S. Coast Guard and Iraq War veteran, and founder of Judge Public Relations, a firm recognized as one of the top PR firms serving Tampa, Florida, and the Southeast.

The two men discussed Constitution Day (September 17), and the importance of every American understanding the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Christian heritage of the United States.

James described his experience during the COVID-19 pandemic that motivated him to run for political office.

James explained the nation's Christian Heritage by quickly breaking down the National Monument to the Forefathers in Plymouth, Massachusetts, to show the importance of Christianity and a biblical worldview in every aspect of our country.

The two men discussed the vital importance of pastors and church leaders getting involved in politics and public affairs. They also talked about churches starting Biblical Citizenship courses to inform people, encourage them to vote, and inspire them to step into the political arena.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, one year ago, stunned the world. Some laughed, cheered, and endorsed his senseless murder. Others were sickened, angry, and worried. Still others wanted to retaliate. One thing is for sure: Charlie's death changed the world.

When our producer, Alex Corn, heard about the assassination, he asked Dave to call one of his pastors and one of his elders from The Harbor Church to record and send out a podcast to help people work through the hurt, sadness, anger, and shock.

The following Sunday, September 14, 2025, Pastor Dave gave a sermon entitled, "HOW SHOULD WE RESPOND TO THE ASSASSINATION OF CHARLIE KIRK?" Later, the church found out that, sadly, only a handful of churches in the Tampa Bay Area spoke out about this tragedy. God had used Charlie in tremendous ways, and he became the largest voice in Christendom, not only for the younger generation but for all generations.

Charlie repeatedly said the church is mandated to speak out on what the Bible says about cultural, social, financial, and political issues, but many churches choose to avoid these topics for two main reasons.

1: They fear people leaving their churches.

2: They fear retaliation from communist, Islamic, and LGBTQ+ activists. Charlie was adamant that pastors must speak out, stand firm in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13-14), and never cower under outside or internal pressure.

One year later, there are three things we can do:

1: Stand firm in the faith, speak out, and challenge the unBiblical groups like Communism (Democratic Socialists of America), Islam, and the LGBTQ+ worldview.

2: Pray for those who think differently and may not like our Biblical worldview.

3: Pray for the Kirk Family, the TPUSA family, and anyone who personally knew Charlie and his family. Loss is very difficult. Sudden loss tied to the legal system makes it even worse.

Send this short podcast to anyone who may be struggling.

Dave talks with Class Action and Antitrust Litigation Lawyer Matt Allen at Carlton/Fields. Matt is also on the Board at Paideia School of Tampa Bay, a Classical Christian School that seeks to save Western Civilization one student at a time. He is a volunteer teacher of apologetics, hermeneutics, and senior thesis projects at Paideia. He is on a mission to recover lost tools of learning in classical education that modern educational theory has abandoned.

The two men talk about the differences between phonics versus whole language. The difference between a progressive/secular and biblical worldview.

Matt gives a four-phase approach to education that every parent should be aware of, which includes, in order of importance;

1) Biblical

2) Academic

3) Cultural literacy

4) School Culture

They discuss how classical Christian education (80%) has the highest rate of students who remain in church after they graduate, while only 10% of public-school kids remain in church after they graduate. It's something to look into.

Western Civilization can be saved!

Dave walked through the stories of Norman and Cynda Behymer, a widower and a widow, and how God brought them together. They are "Stories of Hope" with the power of Jesus Christ in their lives.

Norman was married to Denise for 50 years, and after her loss, he felt as if he had lost an important voice in his life. Cynda was married to David for 43 years and felt lost and vulnerable, never thinking she would marry again.

Both Norman and Cynda knew they would see the spouses again in heaven, but that didn't stop the pain and loss they were feeling here on earth. Be encouraged as they talk about walking through the different seasons of life with God to become open to love again.

Norman has served in different capacities, serving numerous senior pastors at Council Road Baptist Church for 52 years. His current role is Pastor of Staff Development.
