Randy Pandis lived in Iran as a young teenager. His dad was a consultant for a company that sold military weapons to Iran before the revolution. Randy gives his view of what Iran looked like in the late 1970's, including the eventual takeover of the United States Embassy on November 4, 1979.

Dave and Randy also discuss the various groups involved in the revolution and how the Islamists eventually came to power. It's very important to know the process to power so it is not repeated in the United States.

He sees the warning signs of an Islamic Revolution and what is developing in Europe and the United States today. Despite the deja vu experience, Randy believes our job as believers in Jesus Christ is to know what Islamists believe, counter those beliefs with Biblical truth, and to lead muslims to Christ.

In this episode of the Today Is My Favorite Day Podcast, Dave discusses the three reasons the ascension (Acts 1) is so important to our faith today.

Dave also explains the "Hammer Illustration" to show how vital it is to our spiritual health.

Dave does use stats from a study by the Center for Bible Engagement, which surveyed over 100,000 people. The results from that study are now called "The Power of 4." When we understand and implement "The Power of 4," we will be more excited and thankful for what Jesus is doing for us in heaven right now.

The Amen Institute gave around 100 churches and faith-based groups the opportunity to participate in its pilot program. The final product will be released worldwide in 2027. She talks about Dr. Daniel Amen of the Amen Institute, scientific evidence that constant prayer makes your brain more resilient to the chaos of this world. David talks with Frank Bills about his military service in Desert Storm, his exposure to WMD's in Iraq, and his subsequent health issues and the health problems of those in his Battalion. He exposes his and many others' heart health issues, which came from the Sarin exposure, and the miraculous healing he is experiencing through his relationship with Jesus Christ.

Frank's eyewitness account of Sarin and Mustard gas found in Iraq confirmed the truth of WMDs in Iraq (chapter 9). He was the Battalion's Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC) Non-commissioned officer (NCO) for the I-327 Infantry under Colonel Frank Hancock. You can read about his account and many others in Colonel Frank Hancock's book, "Operation Desert Storm: How Two Young Intelligence Analysts and an Infantry Battalion Changed the War in Iraq."

Frank opens up about his brother's military service and eventual suicide. H talks about his involvement with the Red Star Foundation to help families survive suicide and how to prevent suicide among military men and women. It's amazing that Frank is alive.
