As we continue “Q & A, What Does Jesus Say,” Dan and Robert address two more questions submitted by our listeners:
Our theme for season 4 of Today with Jesus is “Q & A: What Does Jesus Say?” Dan and Robert will be addressing questions submitted by you, our listeners! On this episode, they deal with these two questions:
Dan and Robert answer this question from a listener: What would Jesus say about COVID and virtual worship? Today With Jesus will be on hiatus for several weeks. Brother Dan explains at the end of this episode.
Dan and Robert continue their series, “Q & A: What Would Jesus Say?” with this listener-submitted question: What would Jesus say about singleness?
Dan and Robert kick off season 3, “Q & A: What Would Jesus Say?” with two sets of questions, one from a listener and two questions from our Lord: Question from our listener: What would Jesus say about the division created by COVID? Questions from the Lord:
– “If salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?” (Mat. 5:13)
– “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?” (Mat. 5:46)
The “Great Commission” is a perfect demonstration of what Jesus can do for your past, your present, and your future. Join Dan and Robert for the final episode of season 2 and the final episode in our study of the gospel of Mark.
We are right to emphasize the Friday on which Jesus died, but we must realize that those events are of no effect without what happened on Sunday. Step into the life of Jesus once again as Dan and Robert contemplate the proofs of Jesus’ resurrection and the power of his resurrection.
Just as he predicted several times throughout his ministry, Jesus was delivered to the Roman authorities and sentenced to death by crucifixion. He was mocked and mistreated, though he was innocent. As we study this portion of our Lord’s life — when he was in the crosshairs of bitterness — we learn how we should react when others mistreat us.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus took the pieces of his broken heart to God. From Mark 14:32-72 we can learn about the pieces of Jesus’ broken heart, and what we can learn about our own prayer lives from Jesus’ garden prayers.
On this episode, we step into the life of Jesus to observe him instituting the Lord’s Supper. As we observe the symbolism of the unleavened bread and the contents of the cup, there are rich lessons for us to make our weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper more meaningful.
