Disney is celebrating the holidays by dropping its latest Avengers series based on everyones favorite character, Hawkeye. Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld star in this six part story, which takes place in NYC. We spend Today's Episode looking at the premiere episodes, "Never Meet Your Heroes," and "Hide and Seek." So how does a TV show hope to adapt such a long and well known series? 
Well... they've got a giant budget and Brandon Sanderson (the writer of the final novels) consulting them. But really this is uncharted waters. Amazon Prime has giant shoes to fill and we're here to discuss the first few episodes. We haven't read the books, so this review is solely from a first time viewer perspective. Hope you enjoy!

From the title and casting choices, one might expect a light hearted comedy about neighbors who bond and help out with each others problems. That is not the case, as Will Ferrell plays a New Yorker with an anxiety disorder in 1982 who enters therapy under Dr. "Ike" (Paul Rudd). It's based on a true story, and makes me glad we now have the internet to vet our prospective psychologists before trying them out. Tune in to hear our thoughts on the first episode produced by Apple TV+. 

Not every day a video game company infiltrates the television industry by producing one of the highest rated shows of all time (if current IMDB rating holds at 9.4). With six more episodes to go, RIOT and Netflix seem to have broken the mold. On Today's Episode, we review the first three episodes of the series. We compare Arcane to other animated/adventure programs, and we discuss the background to this League of Legends origin story.

Originally a Movistar+ production, HBO bought the rights and released this seven part Spanish series in late October. Though it didn't receive much hype, we decided to check it out and review the first set of episodes. It takes place in 1992 and follows a group of teens as they search for three girls who were kidnapped. It is inspired by true events, though the depiction is pure fantasy with plenty of ghosts, monsters, and mystery. Tune in to hear our thoughts on this peculiar show!
