Yo this episode does need much introduction. We sat down with the legendsm Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, before their performance as The Midnight Hour at The Billboard Live in Tokyo. We had a quick conversation about Tokyo, working with Marvel, hip-hop culture turning 45 and a few other things. Buy their music, support their projects, and respect the culture. Rest in peace Phife Dawg, J Dilla and Chris Lighty.

You can find the Midnight Hours music everywhere.

Yo! From the trash; ain't no chill. This mix was brought to you by Late to get you more familiar with two of his favorite emcees, Nickelus F and LIL UGLY MAYNE. They're both out of Richmond and/ or prominent in their own right. The fact that they are pets and collaborators only makes the mix make more sense. Think of it as an extended Weather Report. We get into their background and aesthetic a little bit before the mix. Also, be sure to peep all their projects especially their latest: STUCK from Nickelus F and volume 1: Flick Your Tongue Against Your Teeth and Describe The Present. from LIL UGLY MANE under the name Bedwetter. A couple more recommended tracks that aren't in the mix are in the link section. Petey 'n' Ugly - enjoy, pls
