Freshman Delegate Evan Worrell from Cabell Co. introduced a Heartbeat Bill that would have banned abortion in WV once a heartbeat was detected. Despite having 10 co-sponsors, including the Speaker of the House, the bill couldn't make it out of committee with a Republican Majority!

KY Gov. Matt Bevin believes the state legislature will pass the Heartbeat Bill and thinks the challenge will eventually end up in the US Supreme Court. He also comments on a bill to allow concealed carry without a permit.

WV Republican Delegate Tom Bibby is hopeful the Education Bill passed by the House will be changed in the Senate to include school choice.
