The Nashville Predators split what turned out to be an exciting and eventful weekend doubleheader... a 7-3 blowout win over the Florida Panthers and a 4-3 heartbreaker to the Minnesota Wild that saw a Ryan Hartman "raccoon in a trash can" goal doom the Preds. And the Locked On Predators crew couldn't help but notice a couple of shiny bright spots, especially the play of young Tommy Novak (who should NOW go by "Thomas.") We break down his 5-point weekend and discuss why John Hynes deserves SOME credit for his performance.
Also in this episode:
-Why Ryan McDonagh's play this season reminds Nick of a certain Quentin Tarantino character.
-Does the Preds' play this weekend change your expectations for what David Poile might do at the NHL Trade Deadline?
-What can last week's embarrassing loss to the Boston Bruins teach the Predators about themselves?
-Jeremy Lauzon's terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad week.
-Nino Niederreiter comes through with some FLAIR against the Minnesota Wild.
