Being an only child when was little I always wondered what it'd be like to have an older brother. Well, all it took was a move to small town and right across the street I got it. Lex and my family both moved in to town within a week or two of each other and my mom would babysit him and his siblings. So by proxy I ended up with five siblings. And believe me when I say it's defiantly a sibling relationship with ups, downs an all around to say the least but Lex has grown up and carved a nice career for himself managing and working behind the camera for a number of sporting events. I pretty much grew up with the the guy so it was nice to catch up with my first big brother.

It's cold outside, and while most of us would like to hide in side huddling by the heat, that can not be said for Mr. Kevin Burnside Jr. Born with Spina bifida and sadly lost both his legs, but Kevin has continued to beat the odds. Going from basketball and now working towards becoming a Paralympian Nordic Skier of all things. After hearing Kevin's story if you don't feel motivated to do more I don't know what to tell you. 2020 may have been tough for him, but it hasn't killed his drive to make the US Olympic team and perform at the highest stage in his sport. While most of us, including myself, would've probably just settled for what life gives us, Kevin is a shining example of going through the muck of life and following your passion even at the grimmest of times. And make sure you reach out and show your support for him in his journey to make the next Winter Olympics.

In the last couple episodes I've mention my fantasy football league and sadly injury has ruined my season. Luckily I know someone who actually coaches football in my boy Mr. Bill Creed. Bill was one of my first dorm mates and friends I made when I went to school and even from the first day I met the guy it was obvious there would be few people I'd probably meet in my life more in love with the football then Mr. Creed. Though time has past it was great to reconnect, talk about his family, his Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia, and picking his brain about football from a non fantasy football mindset. Who would've thought my stupid decisions as a kid would've got me sent to day camp where I would me the girl I lovingly refer to as my favorite Jew. Now, don't get it twisted, while being Jewish was always a big thing for her, trust me when I say there much, much more to the tory than just that. We'd often battle and find ourselves on opposite ends of certain issues, especially later becoming co-directors of the camp, but that only be surface level. A Spanish teacher now for like a decade, studying abroad in Spain and for all you single guys out there, she's singe *wink wink*. Great catching up, apologizing for past mistakes, and just talking with Samantha again so hope y'all enjoy.

Continuing my streak of interviewing and then losing to my fellow fantasy football competitors I get to chat with the other 1/3 of my first off campus apartment in college, Mr. Erik Svensson. 13 years of fantasy football and he's the one that has to handle a league full of assholes like me. It was nice catching up with Erik and talking some fantasy shit talk (*spoiler* I lost MISERABLY), but more importantly it was great talking about cooking. Even after graduating Cortland my man Erik went back to school to become a Chef. Let me introduce you to Erika Clark. In college was one of the few Prof. Writing majors I'd see outside of the classroom. She was always one of those people who stood out. Maybe it was the bright smile, or perhaps her being one of the shortest swimmers on the swim team, or maybe, just maybe, she was just a dope ass person. I always felt she marched to a beat of her own drum and it didn't surprise me that for a time she may be the only person I know who'd actually search for a less than perfect job. Why? Forever Fresh is back, and we got some things to talk about. The 1st time I had Fresh on the show beside talking music we got into his past basketball career. I thought we formed a bond and share my insecurity in my inability to dunk. And what does Fresh do? He proceeds to post pictures of him dunking. So after the pleasantries I get right down to business with Fresh and present him an offer he can't refuse. It's the most important time of the year...Fantasy Football Season. Since 2009 my college friends and I have been in a battle for fantasy football supremacy and somehow the one guy who watches soccer more then football has won the championship about a 1/3 of the time our league has existed. But, now that he's a proud new daddy, speaking for our whole league, I hope his domestication will finally end his winning way. This a case of two people who have know, talk and even worked together but never honestly had a REAL talk between them. Juliette is someone I known for a while an admittedly was a bit of asshole to in High School (among others). But there was always these weird connections wether mutual friends or bring her on to film some shows. So it was nice to just finally sit down and have a convo with her. Defiantly a lot has change since our last convo face to face so nice to get update on film projects being worked on and just both of our foolish love for "bad" movies. Fun times as usual and just another feel good honest conversation.
