Tony Moran - Official Podcast Episodes

I wrote so many songs that year to help me get through so many things that were coming to me at the same time. Not all bad, not all good. Many great things and many big choices I had to make that would make a great impact on my heart. That heart is strong and I am human.

I poured myself into my music and my lyrics and melodies and of course my dance music brothers and sisters and the result is one of my proudest mix journeys. Many # 1 dance songs came from channeling those energies and all of them are available on ITunes, Beatport and Amazon, etc.

Take the time to download some of these songs to bring you back to the moment that you had during anyone of these songs. Support the industry that has been so there for you. In the meantime, enjoy this podcast and I send you all my love. Tony

To the incredible talent that has given me the gifts of voice, heart and love of the music. I write with my pals listed. The message is just a message without the messenger to deliver them. You have all channeled my feelings into performances that inspire positivity, energy with connectivity to those who interpret it to make their night or day better.

Deborah Cox, Kristine W, Nicki Richards, Everett Bradley, Sharon Bryant, Martha Wash, Lisa Lisa, Jeanie Tracy and Vicki Shepard, and of course the producers/remixers that make "THE EVENT" bigger than me: Ralphi Rosario, Jody den Broeder, Warren Rigg, Guisseppe D, Martin Fry, Dan De Leon, DJ Paulo, Tracy Young, Lascelles Stephens, Frank Lamboy, Hosh Gureli and the list goes on and on as you read the booklet. Thank you all for making the collection what it is.

Because it is uncommon to have podcast 3 hours long, I decided to give you guys the option to download as Part 1 or Part 2 for your convenience. My story and experience is the same.

Every set I do is emotional for me. I leave my soul open to join with all of you on the dance floor. I channel all of those emotions and I come prepared and confident to meet you with music in me and available to me. From there, let's take that ride together to do something special.

In September of 2013, I pulled out all the ammunition I had prepared to follow (with my energy) the path to take you on a provocative and sensual journey.

The history of San Francisco's MAGNITUDE party is known throughout the world as the premiere event to explore your mind and body. The DJ has to live up to adding to an incredibly designed and thought out platform; best lasers, best lighting and sound displays I have ever witnessed. Did I feel the pressure? YES, but that's the pressure I want to feel to push myself creatively and live up to the task that the many masters before me accepted. When I tell you that room was HOT, it was not because of global warming.

MAGNITUDE/Folsom Street weekend... I remember having that feeling when I first played at Cameo theatre in Miami and Alegria at Crobar with DJ ABEL.

Get ready world, I am going to be doing plenty more of this.

Though I rarely do it, I allowed my set to be recorded. My friend DJ Jack Chang told me it was totally cool and this guy is amazing. What he did to rev up that room for MAGNITUDE was just pure brilliance. You have to check out his podcast!

http://www.changmusic.com/mp3mixes/JackChangSept2013SanFrancisco.mp3

Now it was my turn, I did my best and the experience was unforgettable. I had so many remixes prepared, it was just crazy, but I was so psyched!

This podcast uses most of that set and I had to edit out some songs that were not yet available respectfully, but I stayed on my journey regardless... to share it with you.

I am including the track listing, and I encourage all of you to support the industry that gives up everything to create for you. I love paying respect and applauding the talent that make my crowd feel good, and I want them to know that I do appreciate it.

I am releasing an album along with this podcast titled TONY MORAN - AFTER DARK - "The Singles". Please support it.

It was an honor to be a part of MAGNITUDE, and I had to title the podcast AFTER DARK because, from my point of view, this is the most I could ever want after dark.

Because it is three hours long ,and that is unusual for a podcast, I am also going to make it available soon after as part 1 and 2 for your convenience.

Thank you everyone for all your continued support, and I can't wait to see you somewhere on this dance friendly planet.

Love, Tony

After having such an incredible summer, one can't help but to be grateful for all the good times that I have experienced through music.

Looking through my music books, I found a group of music that focused around a private party in 2011.  It was intimate, hot and charged with spontaneity and excitement.  I tapped into that experience by releasing myself to crete what I think is the next best thing to being there. Formally unavailable, these private mixes and remixes have served me well.

I leave to you what happens when we are "in the moment".

The summer is upon us and there is no greater way to spend an afternoon than on the beach enjoying your friends and loved ones. When you include an event that totally encapsulates that day, the right music, special things happen. You make new friends. You have more reasons to smile and feel your blessings versus counting them. Then there's the DJ giving everything he's got to create those magical memories that stay with you forever. As I put my heart into this I thought SOUVENIRS FROM THE SUN was the perfect name for this SANDBLAST event. The titles I chose for this podcast come from what inspires me most about music, messages. I am sending messages through songs I've written and produced along with songs, tracks and remixes by artist and talent that I have such great respect for. Among the many familiar and classic tracks, I have created and added new tracks that I hope will join the classics ranks. I send a very special thank you to Deborah Cox, who is an incredible collaborator and friend. Together, we have gone into the studio again to create one of my proudest works yet titled, "A New Life". This new work was inspired by one of the many hit songs from the musical JECKYL AND HYDE. It's premier is happening on this podcast FOR YOU! When it is released. please show your love and support. Also, a special thanks to Joe Gautheraux who came to me with and idea about the classic song "Souvenirs" by Voyage. I brought the incredible Michelle Weeks in to put that diva touch to it and you are hearing Stage 1 of the future hit anthem Let's Find A Place". You can also hear for the first time a song that I wrote with an incredible songwriter, Phil Galston who wrote "Save The Best For Last" for Vanessa Williams. Phil and I came up with an emotional musical piece titled , "Where The Sky Meets The Sea". I would love to hear your feedback about this. AND BIG NEWS!…We have just released a new video on Sugar House Music to my new single with Deborah Cooper, "Heartbeat". I cannot tell you how happy I am with it's performance on the charts and dance floor! Here is the link - please check it out! https://vimeo.com/67777284 Sandblast is going to be amazing and I wait to see so many there. For those of who can't, I share a piece of my heart and leave this continuos mix to make that journey as well in spirit for you. To learn more about Sandblast please go to: http://www.sandblastweekend.com Have a great summer and hit me up on Facebook, and www.mrtanmanmusic.com to find my music, and above all, please support the industry that makes this music for you. New Years was banging from everywhere around the globe this year. You did not have to be there to channel into it. For me, in 7 days, I had that celebration rushing from Belo Horizonte to Tai Pei. They were amazing and they were living for every moment as was I. But now, I had one more stop to go to and give it on NYE; my hometown of NYC, and it was going to be a long and crazy night for sure. Getting on that plane in Taiwan, I knew that I would actually be able to feel my first sunrise of the year and it would continue rising as my set went on, but I would enjoy it for sure when I was done at XL in New York. Since I knew we would be going 'til very late, I decided that after I was sure that I have served them properly with my fully loaded library, that I was going to entertain them in another way musically. XL changed the color and décor of the room and it became a land of classics being played with a rising sun. Perfect. I made selections for my set by going for titles (which I partially obsessed over) that have touched me, changed me or gave me the courage to accept change as I was living here within a talent pool of maestros that is legendary after legendary. Respect to you all. For all my friends and fans out there, please understand, you don’t have to come from New York to feel it, and much of the music originated in other great cities, but they inspired me here and I hope you enjoy this and have a Happy New Year, Tony.

There are few things in life that are sweeter than having a vision...

After being so humbled and inspired by the love shown to me either through my sets, or from many of my original compositions in those sets, this vision came to me of how exactly I wanted to put together Volume 2 of my Unloaded podcast series.

I took three of my latest sets which had me unloaded to an even bigger level.

So when I just recently played at my NYC hometown residency (XL Night Club), in Bahia, Brazil (Hell And Heaven Party) and in Tokyo, Japan (Glamorous Party), I had the idea to take these three journeys from different areas of the world where I really had to take those big guns out!

I am new to putting up podcasts, but like all the steps I've taken throughout my career, I do not succomb to the pressure of having to conform as it restricts me from creating.  I am taking a chance by not limiting or compressing the journey I want to share with all of you. You have about two hours here, and I hope that you, my friends, followers, and subscribers continue giving me your support and spreading the news to help me take my music to new places to encourage my own growth.

I have included many of my most requested unreleased mashups as well as original songwriting/production compositions; many that I unfortunately cannot release on my own, but I can share them with you through my podcasts and I will be able to let you preview them individually when you go on to my new site.

www.mrtanmanmusic.com

It's in the early stages, so give me a chance and hit the "+" sign, reach out to me, and watch it get better every day.

This is what my partners from Sugarhouse Records, my management and myself created to get a Tony Moran "all access pass".

So from the podcast you'll be able to hear the never available...

Queen vs. Tony Moran "No Escape from Reality"

My Mashup Of "Escobar" by Danzando

My New Remix of Colton Ford "Let Me Live Again" that has been blowing up the dance floors

My Great friend DJ Paulo's remix of my classic with Deborah Cox, "Easy As Life" - It is soooooo HOT!

My Mashup of a fierce track that my friend DJ Alex Cohen turned me on to called "Drums Of Benirras" where I threw in full on Loleatta Holloway in there.  Drives people absolutely crazy!

Then of course two of my favorite experiences ever; my production and songwriting moments with two of the greatest Divas of all time, Donna Summer and Cher.

Donna's "Valley Of The Moon" that was written by Donna, myself and Nathan Digesere which never got to be released.

Then there was awesome experience with Cher, who I recorded at the home of my greatest inspirations, David Foster. Written by Bruce Roberts, it's titled, "Love So High" and did this version that did not make it on the album for retarded reasons that is not worth getting into, but Cher herself was amazing.

Thank you to all the incredible talent that I love to promote and promote me back. Mauro Mozart, DJ Enrry Senna, Gustavo Scorpio, the legendary Peter Rauhofer, Jody Den Broeder, Giuseppe D., Stonebridge and Edson Pride.

Much love and see you soon.

Love,

Tony
