01.17.21 No Matter The Test Keep Glorifying God

James 1:2-4

1 Peter 4:12-14

There is a relationship between our sufferings and our ability to have stability in God. Many of us believe that if we do good, then good comes back to us and if we do bad then bad comes back. The Bible does talk about he principle of sowing and reaping, but we don’t always have a timetable for our reaping. God is about building our relationship with Him and isn’t results driven. These test are here do improve our walk with God, so that there is no lack in our relationship with Him. God wants to get us to a place where if we had nothing at all, then He would still get glory just from what He’s placed on the inside of us. Patience is the key, it allows us to have faith that God is still in control even if we cant always see how.

01.10.21 Faith For Your Impossibilities

Matthew 17:14-20

Pastor Jackson speaks Matthew 17 about having faith for impossible things. This passage speaks about having a small amount of faith and belief in God the size of a mustard seed to move a mountain in your life. The disciples were talking with Jesus about not being able to cast out a devil and Jesus tells them its because of their unbelief. He noted two things that were hindering their progress : Faithlessness and perversion. The environment were they were didn't believe in anything let alone God, but speaking faith-filled words will help you change your environment because faith comes from hearing the Word of God and we know His words have power nad so do ours.

01.03.21 I’m Coming Out Alright

Exodus 3:7-10,19-21

Pastor Jackson speaks from Exodus 3 about the conflict between the Israelites and Egypt. In the passage Moses speaks with God about getting out of Egypt and bondage, and God says that He has heard their cry and lets them know that He will bring them out. But God let Pharaoh make it harder on them before they were free. He had to let it get worse so that when He brought them out, they would say that nobody but God did it. Sometimes God will use your enemy to turn around and bless you. God wanted to show His people that He can keep you ev.en through the bad times, so when you come out you wont be empty. God’s favor will sometimes put you in places that you don’t seem qualified for or deserve, that’s how much He loves us and wants us to live life to the fullest down here on Earth.

12.27.20 I Will Survive This Test

Matthew 7:24-27

Pastor Jackson speaks from Matthew 7 about the parable of the two men who built their houses on rock and sand. This is the end of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and he says that everyone who does the things that He said, they would be wise like a man who built their house on a rock. When the storms came to damage the house, the house didn’t fall because it has a solid foundation. But if you don’t listen and obey Jesus’s commands then you are like a foolish person who built their house on sand, and when the storms came the house fell. When you life is built on the solid Word of God, you don’t have to worry about the changing of the world because God is stable. Having Jesus as the Solid Rock helps you stand up again after the winds and the rain comes, and you can give the glory back to God.

You Can’t Take Christ Out Of Christmas

Bringing Back The Environment Of Praise

Thank You For Stooping To Save Me

John 8:1-11

Pastor Jackson speaks from John 8 about Jesus stooping in the dirt and forgiving a woman who was caught in adultery. The religious leaders wanted to get Jesus in trouble so they dragged this woman in front of him and asked him what they should do, obey the law and stone her or let her go. All Jesus did was stop and stooped down and wrote in the dirt. This act is symbolic because it shows how much Jesus loved us, when we couldn’t stand up and reach him, he stooped down and came to us. Jesus isn’t afraid to touch the dirt in our life and clean us up and make us whole .

I Came To Offer A Thanksgiving Sacrifice

Before Jesus came this was made in the physical form of animals but after Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, we must have a grateful spirit for what He has done. I Came Back To Say Thank You

Luke 17:11-19

Pastor Jackson speaks from Luke 17 about the story of the lepers who were healed and only one came back to show his thanks.

Lepers were outcast of society because of their disease. They had to live with other lepers and couldn’t be around others. But when they heard that Jesus was near they shouted to God to have mercy and Jesus told them to go to the priests as was the custom, and as they went along their way, the condition was healed. Only one returned with a grateful attitude. He realized that Jesus was the one that healed. The one who was grateful was a Samaritan who was known for not dealing well with the Jews which the other nine were. He showed great faith in God and was made whole. Gratefulness is another way to show appreciation to God and give him praise.
