Top Gun 3 is Happening

Paramount officially confirmed at CinemaCon that Top Gun 3 is happening and a script is currently in the works. Following the massive critical and commercial success of Top Gun: Maverick, the studio officially presented the film as in development, meaning star Tom Cruise and producer Jerry Bruckheimer are expected to return to the danger zone for Pete "Maverick" Mitchell's next high-flying adventure.
