Dan Lanning and the rest of the coaches in the Pac-12 pulled up to the Novo Theater on Friday in Los Angels for Pac-12 Media Day. Lanning spoke with reporters about a number of topics ranging from their opener against Georgia to conference realignment and the quarterback battle.
We also got to spend some time with Oregon offensive lineman Alex Forsyth and outside linebacker DJ Johnson to get their insight on the Ducks football program and the upcoming season. Commissioner George Kliavkoff and a few other Pac-12 executives weighed in on the current realignment chaos following USC and UCLA's move to the Big Ten, while also providing some updates into what the conference's future looks like. Expansion options as well as media rights negotiations were a hot topic, along with name, image and likeness, in a rapidly changing college football landscape.
