Mike Colburn is the president and co-founder of Arizona-based K.I.N.D. Concentrates and Level Up. Founded in 2013, K.I.N.D. Concentrates is a wholesale cannabis company – the first in its category in Arizona – that today provides approximately 90 percent of dispensaries in the state with top-quality medical marijuana and CBD. Level Up is a high-end medical cannabis dispensary in Scottsdale, with a second location opening in Tempe later this year. In his role, Colburn oversees the financial and legal operations of the business entities. Colburn started his career as a firefighter. He then joined the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate on a nuclear submarine. Following his service in the military, Colburn attended Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. Upon graduating, Colburn was a device engineer at Motorola. He took his entrepreneurship to the tax industry and eventually owned 30 Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and H&R Block offices throughout Arizona.
