Flow! Ganges, Flow!

That day, I took the plane with Mom and Dad to the City of Light. On the plane, Dad said, "A long, long time ago, high up in the sky was an ice lake. The water in the ice lake flowed and flowed down to the City of Light, then to the ocean and back to the sky again."

In the 3,000-year-old City of Light, there were ancient flagstone-paved alleys, narrow and maze-like. Giant cattle roamed towards me. I stood against the wall and closed my eyes to make way for the herd. Dogs, pigs, and sheep roamed everywhere. On the roof, a monkey jumped suddenly and I was startled.

Publisher's Summary:

Lujien, my six-year-old daughter, came home one day with the idea of a story of a fish struggling in her school because she is weak. As a physician, I have seen firsthand how physical therapists work to help patients succeed. The idea of our book is to help children understand disabilities, and the role physical therapists play in helping them heal. By making the story about a small fish and (not a human), we hope that kids will better absorb and understand the idea of disability.

A simple story with a great moral

A simple story with a great moral, be happy and live the possibilities you have fully.

I think too that this book would win with some illustrations. The story explains that when you watch well, everybodyâs role in the world is important. An important lesson to give to children.

We are all special and the author proves it in a great story!

I thought this was a beautiful story with a great moral, we all should be proud of who we are. How great is it that we all have a purpose and if we look we will see we are all special. I wish this book would have been illustrated because I think that this would be a great story to shre with young children and pictures would be great for bedtime stories, but this book reaches out to all, great job.

Great Story

Loved the book. Such a cute story. Read the book again and liked it more the second time! Highly recommend this one.
