Very Cute

This is a strange story of a friendship between a great Pyrenees dog and a very young skunk. When Miss Keysâ momma skunk goes off to join a circus, she leaves behind her daughter. She and Ranger become great friends and travel all over the place. But, what happens when they become homesick and meet up with Miss Keysâ mommaâ A cute book that shows no matter how different we are there should be nothing to keep us from being friends. I received a copy to facilitate my review. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Danielle Vann has done it again!

A very delightful book with a great lesson! Danielle Vann is a superb author and is writing children's books that surpass run of the mill stories. The characters are all about friendship, trust and love of home. I really enjoyed this book and will now pass it on to my granddaughter. A great book!

Unlikely best friends

Really enjoyed sharing this cute tale of unlikely best friends with my kiddos. Sometimes we all need a reminder about what is important to us.

Cute story on true friendship and family

The Very Tall tale of Ranger the Great Pyrenees and his Adorable Friend Miss Keys is a cute story. It states quite clearly that it is the âtallest of Tall Tales.â Children should enjoy these unique friends while learning close friends can be family too. I must admit Keyâs mother leaving bothered me a bit at the beginning but fiction is simply copying life in this case. I appreciated how Miss Darlene handles it and that Key and her loyal friend, Ranger embark on such an exciting and enlightening adventure.

The Very Tall tale of Ranger the Great Pyrenees and his Adorable Friend Miss Keys by Danielle A. Vann is different from most stories that I have read with children. However, this tall tale has some areas that could lead to strong discussions such as abandonment, family, friendship and home.
