Publisher's Summary:
Practical advice. Raw honesty. A sprinkle of charming sarcasm. Everyone Has Sh*t is everyones story told through a combination of scientific research, authentic examples, and personal insight. In her second book, Levin illustrates that a positive spirit, kindness, common sense, and a little help from our friends are the tools you need to manage everyday life. Her down-to-earth style is engaging and realistic as she directly tackles sensitive issues with compassion.
This isnt a book about how to live the perfect existence. Instead, its a guide to rolling with the punches while keeping your sense of humor intact, relationships in check and most importantly, taking care of yourself. Unsolicited or not, this book is a roadmap to navigating life as a human being.
Members Reviews:
Great advice, already applying it.
What made the experience of listening to Everyone Has Sh*t the most enjoyable?
This book was honest and pulled no punches. It had a quick pace and back with science and studies. I also enjoyed the personal story of the author.
What other book might you compare Everyone Has Sh*t to and why?
I would compare it to E-Myth Mastery, but for the individual and not a company. Both have great advice each in their own way.
What about Jessica Leigh Levins performance did you like?
It was honest and sincere. You could tell she was telling her story in her words. There is some profanity but I hope you would understand that from the title.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Be a good person, take care of yourself and don't worry what other people think of you.
Any additional comments?
The only issue I had is that played a little fast on my android app. I dropped the speed down to .85 and it was much more enjoyable.
