In this episode, we sit down with Aaron Horne and talk cosplay.  Soon after Aaron’s first visit to a local video game convention, he decided to take a stab and make a costume for the next time, and the rest is history.  Aaron takes DIY to a new level, creating his masks and props entirely from scratch.  This allows him to nail down every tiny detail to bring his ideas to life.  Aaron explains his process for 3d printing some pieces and how some are made entirely of foam.  He even 3d printed himself stilts to increase his height to almost 8 feet for his most recent creation, the forest spirit.   He tells us about where some of the characters he chooses are from and what some of the ones he would like to do next.  Besides cosplay, Aaron is quite a reptile enthusiast, and he tells us about some of his favorite pets.

In this episode, we sit down with the dudes of Swamphead.  Chris tells us how the band was formed with him and his drummer Nick Swanson, and that it could have just been a writing and recording project with no intention of playing live. In this episode, we sit down with the boys of Hardcore Disc Golf, Kyle and Tyler. We get a crash course on what the game of Disc Golf is all about, the rules, and general gameplay.  They both explain how they got into the game and what they enjoy about it. We find out that Massachusetts has some of the best Disc Golf courses around.  They also explain what is different with courses in other parts of the country since they have played quite a bit in their travels.  We discuss the overlap of Music and shared interests and how that turned into the Instagram page, which has ultimately become a brand - Hardcore Disc Golf.  Once we finish the disc golf talk, we discuss the awesome influx of shows and new bands and how great it is that on almost any day of the week, you can see live music in the New England area. The boys also tell us about some of their favorite fests they have traveled to attend.  Besides hardcore and disc golf - we also learn all about Kendama.

In this episode, we sit with Alex, Amber, and Thirteen of the RKO Army.  RKO Army is a group of Shadowcasters that primarily perform The Rocky Horror Picture show.  In addition to Rocky horror, they perform some other timeless cult classics such as The Room and the new upcoming production of Reefer Madness. We deep dive into what the shadowcasting community is all about and discuss what is different about RKO Army compared to other casts.  The group tells us about some of their favorite events and conventions and their favorite places to perform.  We also learn that Ryan’s favorite cartoon character is Woody Woodpecker and that Mark and Jon crumble under pressure.

In this episode, we sit down with Jimmy Stickney of Mayflower Brewing! Jimmy started with Mayflower at 21 years old, and in the seven years he has been there, he has taken on many different roles. Starting with pouring some beers in the taproom, driving, and delivery, and now Territory management for their distribution program. Jimmy tells us the brewery's history and how it has grown over the last 15 years. We also discuss some of their flagship brews that have withstood the test of time. We discuss different styles, what to expect when you visit the brewery, and some of the upcoming events they have planned.  He also brought some great beers, including their newest New England IPA - Hazy Buoy, and two special barrel-aged releases from their 15th-anniversary party.

In this episode, we sit down with Kelley and Danny of VaVaVans! After our standard callbacks and nonsense, we dive right into their story.  In 2019 Kelley needed a change which led to her selling her home and most of her belongings and trading her car for an empty van.  With the help of forums and YouTube, Kelley built our new home on wheels and hit the road.  Fast-forward a couple of years - Kelley takes Danny on his first journey across the country in the van, and he knew it was time for a change too.  They devised a business plan, Danny quit his carpentry job, and they began building the van life dream for their customers at VaVaVans. We learn what tiny living is all about and some things to be prepared for living small on the road, whether for a long weekend or six months.  We also discuss the ins and outs of going from a custom home carpentry setting to building in a metal shell on wheels.  We learn about the preferred materials used, the technology they use to maximize efficiency, and how they work with the customer to create the perfect layout.
