This is also our first acrostic psalm (whose verses follow the order of the Hebrew alphabet) – well, halfway through the alphabet, that is. The last half of the alphabet picks up in Psalm 10. (But that’s another story.) This amazing psalm is full of twists and turns as it describes how God will deal with the nations of the world in days to come.
