Election season is in full swing and the biggest issues facing our country are front and center. In this new series we cut through the politics to examine five critical issues through the lens of Torah wisdom.

Polls show that the #1 issue for Americans in this election cycle is the economy. Apparently, we care a lot about our bottom line.

But when it comes to strengthening the economy, there are so many different approaches. One approach is to lower taxes and the cost of everyday goods, so as to put more money in the hands of working Americans. Another approach is to reduce taxes on businesses, so as to stimulate jobs creation. A third approach is to tariff foreign imports, so as to encourage domestic production and build the US workforce. And there are many other approaches.

In Lesson Five of Election 2024 we explore the topic of the economy from a unique and refreshing Jewish perspective. We analyze the biblical economic model to discover Torah's approach to taxation and building a thriving economy.
