TorgyTalk

This week our guest is none other than Kyle Alan! Kyle has been doing comedy for the past 9 years and his act definitely reflects that. In this week's episode Kyle joins us via video chat to talk. We touch on the usual subject of how and why he got into stand up comedy and what inspired him to do so. Kyle is a HUGE metal head! The guys all talk about some of their favorite concert experiences, and found out that Jon and Kyle were at the same System of a Down show back in 2019. Kyle not only performs stand up comedy on a regular basis but he also gives back to the scene by producing his own show at The Bottle Shop in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin once a month. Go see this guy perform live, he 100% will have your attention and will be sure to make you laugh your ass off! We hope you enjoy this episode of TorgyTalk and we will see you next week with another amazing guest!

This week's guest is none only than Chicago comedy legend Vince Maranto. Vince had been doing comedy for 43 years in Chicago. He has worked with names like Tracy Morgan, Bob Odenkirk and even Norm MacDonald. Vince shares some amazing stories with us on what it was like coming up as a comic in the 80s and 90s. Starting back in 1982 Vince shares with us the pay scales that club comics would earn depending on experience. We were honored to have someone with such a resume sit down and share some fun stories and some comedy wisdom. We cannot wait to have him on for future episodes and more amazing stories of life as a professional comedian.

How about that intro to a week! Jack Mann is insane but lived up to his word. If anyone gives him credit its me. This week we talk about Jon's last show at Comedy Plex. We also talk about the WGN appearance of Chicago Roast Battle's Max Sorich and Chris Grieco, who played it perfectly if you ask us. There is much more in this episode! This week Nick Hanek comes back to the show for the second time! Nick was the first Chicago comic to come on to the show, so it was nice to catch up with him! We touch on what he has been doing in his comedy career. He has now taken the step into producing, and was recently on WGN discussing a competition comedy show that him and Ron Bloom are producing together at Woodie’s Flat in Chicago! We talk more than just comedy on this episode which is a nice change of pace. Though, we may have bored  Jack Mann to death with our golf talk. We discuss our favorite Sopranos characters, and even learn that Jack Mann is a bigger pervert than we knew. We hope you enjoy this week's episode of TorgyTalk!

Welcome back to another episode of Ball Boyz. If you haven't gotten the memo yet, because of football season coming to and end we have switched Ball Boyz to a bi-weekly show. This week we jump right into some recent roster moves the Chicago Bears have made. To us it seems like we are gearing up for some big off season moves with our cap space nearing $80million. Chat GPT gives us its prediction of the next 10 seasons for the Bears, and boy does it look promising. We are still not buying into any hype until we see it proven on the field! Enjoy this episode of Ball Boyz and we will see you back in 2 weeks! Bear Down!

We also introduce the new "wheel of ideal" we haven't came up with an official name but it is a good way to pick random things for Jack Mann to look up! Enjoy this episode and hit us up at [email protected] to tell us what we should dress up as during our visit to Chicago Comic- Con. Have a good week and we will see you next week with another episode of TorgyThoughts.
