Cassian tries out his courtier skills by visiting Lucien, Vassa, and Jurian. Surprise! Eris is also there, trying to gather information about some of his soldiers that mysteriously disappeared. We learn more about the human queens and Koschei aka Vassa's keeper. Nesta gives the 10,000 stairs a try and it does not go well. Nesta meets an Illyrian female named Emerie (she's probably not important) and another female named Gwyn (she's probably not important either). Cassian finally figures out how to get Nesta to start training. Yay!

We cover the fifth book of the ACOTAR romantasy series, A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas! This episode covers chapters 1-6 of part 1, Novice.

Nesta has been on a downward spiral for some time and the inner circle decides it's time for an intervention. Nesta can either return to the human lands or go stay in the House of Wind and train with Cassian at Windhaven, an Illyrian war camp. When Nesta isn't training, she'll be helping the priestesses in the House of Wind's library. As you may be able to guess, Nesta does not love being forced into rehab. It's a voluntary program though, so if she is able to go down the 10,000 steps she can venture into Velaris. Meanwhile, Cassian is recruited by Rhys to play courtier with the Night Court's allies. What could go wrong??
