What’s up, dudes? Totally Rad Christmas All-Star Vinnie Brezinsky and I dig into this bummer of a special about ALF! We’re talking “ALF’s Special Christmas!” A terminally ill girl and a suicidal Santa?! Oops! Spoilers. It’s a great blend of comedy and melancholy, or it’s just a super depressing romp with an alien puppet. Either way, good times!

ALF and the Tanners are spending Christmas at a cabin from Willie’s childhood. The owner, Mr. Foley, dresses like Santa and delivers toys to sick children at the local hospital. Of course, ALF sneaks in and accidentally gets mistaken for a toy. Surprisingly, he befriends a terminally ill girl named Tiffany, and slowly starts to develop an understanding about life and Christmas and love.

As the Tanners search and worry for him, ALF helps deliver a baby for a pregnant woman trapped in an elevator. Meanwhile, Mr. Foley, whose wife has just passed away, is giving all his possessions away. He plans on committing suicide. Luckily, ALF, dressed as Santa, talks him out of it by showing him all the lives he’s touched “It’s a Wonderful Life”-style. The Tanners and ALF reunite and bring Tiffany some gifts Christmas morning.

Cat cooking jokes? Yep. Classic alien and toy switcheroo? Got it. Subject matter that makes you cry every time you watch? Definitely! So grab your microwave, put on your Santa suit, and make the world a better place with this episode on “ALF’s Special Christmas!”

What’s up, dudes? I’m once again joined by my brother Danny to talk all about one of the best Christmas movies ever! Yep, it’s “Home Alone”! What? You didn’t know Marley wasn’t in the original script, or that John Candy’s lines were improvised? Well, I’m sure you knew that it has the BEST Christmas musical score ever, composed by the great John Williams! And who doesn’t love Looney Tunes-style comedy? 

Kevin McCallister’s family is preparing to go to Paris for Christmas. When the family starts picking on precocious little Kevin, his acting out causes his parents to banish him to the attic. One little blackout and downed phone line later, and Kevin is accidentally left home alone! While the family is in Europe, Kevin learns to survive and even befriends the mysterious creepy neighbor. The plot really kicks into gear when the Wet Bandits arrive to rob his house. With all his cunning and ingenuity–and spunk–Kevin defends his house with traps and snares, and ensures the capture of the rogues!

This one’s got it all, especially quotes! My brother and I can’t help ourselves! Tar and feathers? Check. Random roaming tarantulas? Yup. Negligent cops dropping donut chunks on their phones? Definitely! So grab your BB gun, ice your steps, and zipline into this episode! Dig it!
