Totally Recalled

Remember Alien: Romulus? This 2024 sci-fi horror film puts us smack-dab in the middle of Alien and Aliens. What happens when you get a bunch of young adults, a couple of androids, and some aliens on a space station? A pregnant woman with an unnaturally evolved hybrid alien baby... thing! Because of course you do.

Released several years after Alien: Covenant, the fanbase was yearning for a new Alien movie. It was yearning for Alien: Romulus. Was that yearning satiated? This 1990 sci-fi action film from Paul Verhoeven and staring Arnold Schwarzenegger asks the question, what if you could implant memories of a vacation to Mars where you pretend to be a spy and find out that an ancient Martian civilization built a way to make Mars habitable like Earth, but they just never pressed the button to start the machine to do it?

Our chronological watch through of the Alien franchise continues to tumble its way through space like a hunk-of-junk mining vessel that has a crew that decided to break quarantine protocols and now there is a 7 foot tall alien life form killing everything it sees one-by-one.
