Town Meeting, a Gilmore Girls Rewatch Podcast

Created by Sandra, Emily and Jess.

Welcome to season 4, Townies! We start back in Stars Hollow after a small hiatus, where Sookie has bought every blue item in Stars Hollow, Taylor keeps talking about nuts and tips, and of course, the Gilmore Girls are back in town - at least, for a while because hello, it's the start of the Yale Years!!

Bring out the pomp and dust off the circumstance, it's time for graduation! The series 3 finale is filled with a lot of endings, but a lot

of new beginnings, too. Join us as we chat about the ups and downs of the inn business, the will they/won't they of Luke and Lorelai, and the

complete and utter lack of Christopher. We say a fond farewell to the season that brought us the end of Jess, the true end of Max, the tragic loss

of Alex, and so much more.

Join us next week for the final Bits of season 3, and then tune in to our Season 3 Wrap LIVESTREAM on Saturday, May 20th at 4pm PST (platform

to be announced shortly!). Watch the @townmeetingpod Instagram page for more details about the stream.

Wayward Circle and Windward Sisters Part 2! Apparently all credit has to go to Jess to keep Sandra and Emily on track, cause when she's not here we talk so much. Anywhoosers, what was the spin off supposed to be called again? Sandra fills us in on the scoop behind Windward Circle and what Milo was up to afterwards, Emily gives us the skinny on a movie and an actress, and confuses 2 actors who look nothing alike. Can you guess which ones? Cause they're not on GG. And we promise, Jess will be back next week for the season finale!! HOW ARE WE THERE ALREADY???

TW: Very brief mention of a suicide attempt in the movie reference

Here comes the son! Oy with the pickles already! The backdoor pilot for a show that never was, the burning question here is can you get a good bagel in California? We have the beginning of our FASFA vs Gilmore Girl going to an Ivy League school debate, Luke is a scaredy cat, Emily (Gilmore) apparently can't dress herself all of a sudden and we get our first appearance of Miss Celine! Emily (cohost) has strong opinions about Jimmy, we meet Sherilyn Fenn (Sasha) for the first time, and we discuss our prom experiences! Join us this week for Here Comes the Son!

It's the fallout from Keg!Max!, in more ways than one. Lane really wants to know if she's punished or not, Rory really wants to know if she's going to prom or not, and Lorelai really wants to know if something happened in Kyle's bedroom or not. In this episode, we discuss Dean maybe pulling a Max (and/or a Christopher), reconned long lost fathers who stepped out for diapers (and never came back), and some tough parenting calls (so long Jess!). Join us as we lament Dave/Adam's early exit, laugh over a podcast kitty blooper, and of course, wonder where did all the ham go?

It's Keg! Max! part 2 and we're back with the Usual! Bits! Sandra's got a series of quickfire music references, Emily's got all you could ever hope to learn about a band whose members are maybe married, maybe siblings, and Jess gets to the bottom of one of Lorelai's goofiest chapeaus. Grab a cup of coffee and join us for this week's quick episode!

Pour one out for Boy With Toothache, it's time for Keg! Max! Kyle's throwing the party of the year, Lane's as of yet unnamed band has it's first real gig, Lorelai has been drafted back into the booster club, and Jess isn't graduating. All jokes aside, this episode is notorious for a reason, and in this pod episode we have a number of discussions about consent and SA. We do so with the mindset that every viewer or listener's experiences will influence how they perceive and feel about scenes in this episode. We aren't here to make any calls about what does or doesn't happen, but we do want to share how viewing scenes like these (in GG and other comparable shows) impacted us as young people. Our comments and DMs are always open for thoughts on the episodes! And we promise, there are still lots of laughs in there, too.
