"If this podcast isn't for you and this isn't the podcast that's helping you through your hysterectomy, your adenomyosis, your recovery period, it's okay. I get it. But for those who are still with me, hey, I thank you." — Emily, 10 Days Since Uterus Eviction Day

In This Episode:
I start off apologizing for abruptly cutting off the last episode, but I'm pretty sure I edited out the ending where I was interrupted, so if you're listening in order, you may not even know what I'm referring to.
But that toxic friendship interaction makes me think of my own friendship breakups in the past, as well as making me wish I had one of my past best friends around to talk to about all this.
But some friendships and relationships may be too toxic to continue, so, like my uterus, it's best to say goodbye and hope for a brighter future!
I've missed driving! And I took a little drive around the neighborhood for a few minutes to get the joy again :) I can't wait for the 2-week mark to hopefully get the full OK to drive again for longer periods of time.
As much as I love the attention from the family as I recover, it's nice to be alone for a few minutes!
It's wild trying to juggle everything: running a small business, being a mom, a caretaker, a wife, plus dealing with Adenomyosis and my uterus running the show most weeks out of every month.
Just because one friend (or organ) is causing us trouble, that's no reason why we can't take a moment to appreciate our other friends (and organs) that are doing a good job!
If you're reading this, I invite you to take a moment to think about a body part you're grateful for :) even if that body part is hurting and sending you a message that you need to give it some extra care today.
Being a good friend also includes being a good friend to yourself and watching the language you use to speak to yourself, whether consciously or subconsciously. It all matters, believe me.
