Alien: Romulus
We are now 9 films deep into the Alien cinematic franchise (if you include the AVP films, which we do) and we are really getting to the point where marrying the lore of the early films to the later ones has become a full time job. Well, let us introduce you to Alien: Romulus, the hardest worker in that full time job… Who along with their spiritual sibling, the game Alien: Isolation, and Alien: Covenant they are the heavy lifters of the Alien Lore wheelbarrow. It’s not all just backstory and religious allegories though, this new film is chocked full with action, horror, tension and quotes from other films in the series.
*Slaps roof* you can fit SO many quoted lines in this thing!
Dion, Quinny and Jill are your terrified survivors of this horror show, and we’re still waiting to find out if the “Facehugger incident” at the premiere will result in anything untowards.
